GIBSON HOUSE FOR WOMEN

Gibson House for Women is a 34 bed residential treatment facility for adult women eighteen years or older. Our program is tailored specifically for women who are struggling with addiction, providing a comprehensive approach to recovery that combines evidence-based therapies with care and individualized attention. Length of stay can vary depending on our client’s needs and progress but typically lasts 30 days. Gibson House for Women is made up of 6 homes, with the main facility located at 1115 North D Street in San Bernardino, CA. These homes provide a nurturing and substance-free environment where our clients are encouraged to become the best versions of themselves by promoting healthy social interactions with their peers and education on effective components of a strong relapse prevention plan. As with all VARP, Inc. programs, our staff works diligently to connect clients with county and community services that are supportive of their recovery goals, including but not limited to the following:

  • Family reunification, weekend visitations, and family group

  • Services for justice-involved clients and CFS/CPS cases 

  • Behavioral and mental health services

  • Transitional and permanent housing

  • Vocational and job development services, and

  • Referrals to other programs and services including medical and dental 

 

Graduates of the primary program may transition to VARP’s sober living environments for women. Gibson House for Women has been a staple of residential treatment in Southern California for over 40 years. We are committed to providing you with the tools you need to succeed!
